So there's rumour of some new limited releases coming out in late November. It's being called a mini Record Store Day.

It's about as chaotic and mysterious as the first RSD was. I emailed a list of the proposed titles to the Specialty Mailing List and am not gonna mention them all again here except to say that you will not be able to get the Metallica double 10" from Vortex. For reasons I'm not gonna get into, I decided not to bring it in, but I thought it best to announce it here in case some Vortex regulars are Metallica fans (hi, Doug!) and are expecting to pick this up from us. Grab it from Rotate or Soundscapes.

Also, a few people have asked me about the QOTSA debut vinyl re-release. It's been pushed to 2011. Yes, really.

We will have the Sharon Jones 7" box set and some other titles. If you hear of anything that's been announced for this "event", shoot me an email and I'll let you know if we expect it. If you want the heads-up on any future coming soons, join our SML.
