Okay, so two short bits of news:

We absolutely will have the new Tom Waits LPs on Tuesday. The 7LP Orphans box will be $138.99. The 2LP Glitter and Doom will be $22.99.

As to the question I'm getting hit with daily... YES! We will be having our annual boxing sale. No, we have not decided what the discount will be. It will be at least 25% off all used product, and may be higher. The best way to stay on top of this is to join our emailing list. Once the final decision has been made, I'll email the list. Promise.

This week CD soundtracks are on sale for 40% off. There are rules, but they're simple:

1) Only titles from the soundtrack wall and soundtrack bin, not from the new arrivals.
2) Titles in artist's sections are not elligble (ie, no Philip Glass, Mike Nyman, Sakamoto, etc.)
3) Movie soundtracks only--not broadway shows and musicals.

Sale runs up to and inclusive of Saturday November 14, 2009. Again, those on the mailing list got an extra day's notice on the sale (email was sent early Sunday morning). Sign up so you can get the jump on future sales.

Okay, so compact disc box sets are on sale all this week, until Saturday, November 7, inclusive. 40% off.

Our annual Summer Sale runs from Today, Thursday July 9, through Sunday July 12. We're open our usual hours (10 - 10 every day but Sunday, which is 11 - 6). We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Debit, and, of course, cash!

We ask that during the sale you do NOT bring in your own items to sell us. Our sales are usually pretty busy and we prefer not to be buying stock when other customers are waiting in line.

One question we often get asked is if we pull the "good stuff" off the shelves the night before the sale. No! Everything that was available pre-sale is offered at our terrific sale prices! We do not, however, ever add stock during the sale so anything we didn't have time to process before the sale stays unprocessed until the sale is finished. This means that on Monday July 13, new stock will be added to the floor at regular prices.

Earth's Radio Live LP is in. 180g vinyl. Limited to 3000 copies.

We recieved two Mono LPs: Gone and Hymn to the Immortal Wind. The latter is the Japanese band's latest album, and it's a 2xLP. Here's an MP3 of the track Ashes in the Snow.

Gone's full title is Gone: A Collection of EP's 2000-2007 and that's exactly what it is: Mono's super-rare EPs collected onto three LPS. Allmusic calls the compilation "incredibly majestic ... cinematically lush ... gorgeous".

We also received restock of Explosions in the Sky's first two TR releases: Those Who Tell the Truth... (MP3) and The Earth is Not a Cold Dark Place (MP3) and restock of Dinosaur Jr's latest, Farm (MP3), all of which sold out soon after we got them last time.
