Sometimes this blog forgets that our bread and butter is used items. We've had a ton of new used vinyl and CDs come in in the past few days. I don't have the stock in front of me and specific titles may be gone by the time you read this but off the top of my head we've seen some great condition used vinyl by:

Rolling Stones
Flying Burrito Brothers
many on Atlantic (multiple albums by Otis, Aretha, and Carla Thomas)
Quicksilver Messenger Service
Joni Mitchell
Nazz
Pink Floyd
The Box Tops
Zeppelin
Fairport Convention
Etc.

Yeah, many of these are common titles at Vortex, especially the classic rock, but these are mostly early pressings and covers and records are in fine shape.

We've also got some nice CDs in lately. Everything from the latest record by the bands the young people are listening to these days (Wilco, Arctic Monkeys, Eels, Ray La Montagne, Mogwai, Elvis Costello, Iron and Wine, etc.) to more experimental fare (Woods, Earthless...) to classic jazz (Blue Mitchell, Grant Green, Gene Krupa...).

Again, we see good stuff all the time which is probably why I've never posted much about it to the site. But there is just so much of it right now it's rather impressive. If we do say so ourselves.
